At CUC88, the security of your login session is a technical priority we never compromise on. Every time you enter your username and password, our system automatically applies multiple layers of security measures in the background — most of which are invisible to you, but working continuously to protect your account.
First, all data you submit during the login process — including your username and password — is encrypted using TLS 1.3 protocol with a 256-bit encryption key before it ever leaves your device. This means even if someone manages to intercept your internet connection — whether you're on public WiFi in Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru — they won't be able to read your login details.
Second, your password is never stored in plain text in the database CUC88. Our system uses a one-way hashing method that cannot be reversed — meaning even internal staff at CUC88 cannot see your actual password. Only you know your password.
Third, the system CUC88 monitors every login attempt in real time. If the system detects suspicious activity — such as multiple consecutive incorrect password attempts or a login attempt from an unusual geographic location — your account will be automatically locked temporarily and you will be notified by email to re-verify.
Finally, we encourage all members CUC88 to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) through your account security settings. With 2FA active, even if someone knows your password, they'll still need the OTP sent to your registered Malaysian phone number to log in — an extra layer of protection that makes a real difference.
